I am a Sydney local, having grown up in the inner west of Sydney. I completed an undergraduate degree in Medical Science at the University of NSW (UNSW) and continued my studies in sunny Queensland, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of QLD in 2010.
I returned to Sydney to start my medical career at St George Hospital, where I also completed my FRANZCOG training. This training saw me rotate through several hospitals, gaining extensive experience, including: Sutherland Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital, Lismore Base Hospital and Bankstown Hospital.
During my training I also completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine with Excellence through UNSW. I have a special interest in performing minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and spent my final year of training performing keyhole surgery at Sutherland Hospital.
I have a keen interest in education and teaching, which saw me complete Foundations of University Learning and Teaching through UNSW. I am also a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW, which enables me to be involved with the education and training of junior doctors.
When I am not at work, my husband and I have our hands full with our two beautiful little girls.
